Release Candidate 3 of Sedna XML:DB API version 1.2 has been released as version 1.2 of Sedna XML:DB API.
This release marks a mile stone in the development of the XML:DB driver for the Sedna XML Database. The first version was released on the 22nd July, 2007 and has since been improved and optimised dramatically. Over 1,000 unit tests have been painstakingly written for the Sedna XML:DB API testing every last component thoroughly and rigourously.
It is highly unlikely that any further major developments or improvements will be added to the Sedna XML:DB API. Any updates to this version will be minor patches (if bugs are found by users).
